Jimmy "gator" sherman

I was born and raised in Kensington and brought up Catholic. I went to Catholic school, but I didn’t know who Christ truly was until I accepted him in my heart. I went to prison in 1979, and in 1984 someone mailed me a bible, and I wrote in the front page, “Why did you choose me Lord Jesus?” I got saved that same year, and twenty years later I was released from prison moved back to Kensington.  His answer came when I started serving at The Rock, and his answer was “To glorify my holy name in your neighborhood”.  Since then I have a personal relationship with him.  I didn’t know that He had a plan for my life, and now I know who I am and why I am here.
